Working seamlessly with pointOne EPoS, pointOne Stock can you provide you with real time stock figures at the touch of a button. You no longer have to wait until the end of the day to get your stock holding, simply log into pointOne Stock, and print off a stock report, during or after service.
We have worked on features such as these in order to improve the way in which our customers can obtain important information quickly and easily.
Store Suppliers
Before you can enter in your ingredients into pointOne Stock you will first need to enter in your supplier details. We give you the ability to enter all the contact information for all of your suppliers, such as fields for details liek your credit limit.
Add, Edit, View Ingredients
Once all all of your suppliers have been entered you can than begin entering your ingredients. We have designed this to be as user friendly as possible with regular feedback from our clients to ensure that it is a simple task, and not one that is dreaded by restaurant managers.
We have provided the ability to enter information such as preparation wastage, item shell life, how the item is supplied, how the item is sold, among others. Have a look at the image on the left to view the other fields that can be completed.
Set-up Item Recipes
Having entered in your ingredients pointOne Stock then asks for the recipe and item make-up for each item. When a recipe is put together pointOne Stock will calculate the Gross Profit (GP) for the item and provide you with financial data for that item.
Actual recipes can also be stored for each of the dishes and can be used as a reference.
Suggested Re-Ordering
A lot of time is spent by restaurant and bar managers working out what needs to be re-ordered to maintain minimum stock levels when they could be performing other tasks.
Using data from pointOne EPoS and based upon the minimum levels you have supplied during set-up, pointOne Stock will recommend orders for each supplier. All you have to do is print the Purchase Order and send it through to your supplier.
After printing off stock usage reports from another time period you can also amend a suggested order if required before it is printed.
Delivery Variance Reporting
When orders arrive from your suppliers sometimes not all the order arrives! pointOne Stock helps you keep track of such events by providing you with variance reports after you have reconciled an order within the system.
Perform Stock Takes
pointOne Stock will prepare and print stock taking sheets for you to complete. These can be 'blind' stock takes if required.
Once the stock take has been performed the results are reconciled within the program and a variance report is printed with details of any discrepancies between theoretical and actual stock.
Record Wastage
When plates of food are dropped, or bread is thrown away, it is reffered to a waste. This wastage happens every day and affects your bottom line so why not record it and keep track of it?
Over time you may find that food wastage is costing you a lot of money and a system such as pointOne Stock can alert you to such problems before the problem escalates.
